Abstract

The idea of building new things by transforming institutions like colleges, universities and similar nonprofit organizations is the central point of Leading Generously, an indispensable reference book of facts and opinions written by Kathleen Fitzpatrick.  Organized in four chapters (called parts), with an Introduction and ending with a section of Acknowledgements, Notes, Bibliography, and Index, the present volume is an appeal to assess the current situation and at the same time to redesign and reimagine the whole concept of leadership.
